The High Peak bus service 61 will have extended hours of operation on Fridays and Saturdays, and a Sunday service from 27th September. This will open up leisure and work opportunities at the busiest time of the week. There will be an hourly evening service between 1840 & 2240 from either end of the route.

There will be 4 trips on a Sunday. These provide opportunities to visit places on the whole 61 route, and make connections at Buxton to other short days out, such as 65 to Tideswell & Eyam, A53 to Blackshaw Moor & Leek, and TP to Bakewell & Matlock.
