20 January until further notice :
The road is blocked between Whaley Bridge & Rainow. Bus services 60 & 60A will run in 2 sections up to the closure area.
Dinting Rd from 27 October.
Dinting Rd will be closed between Shaw La & Dinting station for utilities works for the new housing estate. Route 393 will run normally Glossop-Shirebrook Pk-Glossop, and Hadfield Green La-Padfield-Hadfield Green La.
Between Hadfield and Glossop, the diversion route will be : North Rd, Park Rd, Marlow Hill, Church Street & Hadfield Rd - in both directions. Stops at Shawfield Rd and Lower Green Lane will not be served.
Emergency roadworks - Hgh Street East
Service 390 & 393 will be diverted. Service 390 will turn left from Manor Pk Rd to operate via Sheffield Rd and Shirebrook Drive. Service 393 will turn right from High Str East and operate along Shirebrook Drive, picking up the normal return route from Queens Drive. Service 237 will not run east of Henry Str at this time.
Hadfield Waterside - any period between 01 & 14 December.
Temporary traffic control is expected to be in place around the old JD Williams site entrance between these dates.
A628 and/or Mottram - January 2026.
Overnight work and closures will be taking place between the County boundary and Mottram through January. Works are between 1900 & 0600
Service 351 Glossop - Holmfirth
This service has been temporarily suspended whilst vehicles and drivers are utilised for other routes.
Network Rail works 15-22 February 2026
There will be limited departures from the main station at Manchester Piccadilly over this 7 day period. Platforms 13 & 14 will be serving trains to the west & north. Hadfield and Sheffield trains will run via & terminate at Guide Bridge. More detailed information will be available from early January.

Armentieres Square will be closed for the event from mid-afternoon. Buses cannot serve stops on Acres Lane or the square, and will be diverted via Mottram Rd and Market Street.
The first stops to be observed will be at the junction Waterloo Road / Market Street / Trinity Street.
Football car traffic flows affecting Hollingworth & Mottram.
Traffic along the A628 and 237 route is affected westbound, along with possible delays through Broadbottom on route 341.
Traffic builds up around 2 hours before kick-off. Only the Premiership male games are listed here. Other European cup matches are played and will be listed nearer the time. Female matches are currently not attracting enough road traffic to be listed here.
