Welcome to the Glossop train tickets and fares page.

The range of fares on the Glossop line are relatively simple. Being simple does mean that the cheapest options are not always available. There are however a range of options for groups of people together, those wishing to buy a series of journeys in one go, or wanting to travel in a geographic area. Adult fares are shown below for Hadfield, Dinting & Glossop to Manchester Central stations.. Although the fares are the same, you must still have a ticket for the correct station, for the purpose of ticket checking. Most of the options are listed below.

"Off Peak" times apply to all rail & tram options. Peak times, when these operations cannot be used, are before 0930, and between 1530 & 1830. This also applies on Public Holidays.

You can only buy an "open" return, valid up to a month, for long distance journeys. All Glossop-Manchester return tickets are for 1 day.

Systemone tickets listed below can only be used by adults within Glossopdale.

Rail rovers & rangers.

Plusbus.
