Where we are...
L2 - all buses have disabled access by default. The newer `Bee` buses have more turning area, and a reverse facing "next stop" screen as standard.
L4/L7/M5 - There are various period tickets between buses & trains valid in Glossop. Take a look in the "travel by train" section of this website. There is however no period ticket for all 3 modes that covers Glossop. The boundary area of these tickets will however change from January 2025. We are awaiting further information from TfGM post January 2025.
L8 - Electric buses will form part of a fleet, but over time. Any electric buses that run, will work any routes from their depot, and not just exclusively into Glossop. The current `bee` design however, is predominantly on diesel.
L9 - There is an arrangement set up by the Mayoral offices of EM & GM, where the Derbyshire BeeLine card & and Student access card used together can give free travel on routes 237, 341 & 394. Not on any other route, and not for leisure travel.
M3 - We are entering into an agreement with Enterprise, to place a car & van on Bernard Street car park. These vehicles are only for people that register to join the relevant users club. We was intending using the railway station car park, but lack of EV terminals and involvement of many agencies at that site has made Bernard Street a much better proposition to start from.
M8/S4 - A consultation has been done, along with a personal video showing the adverse effects of sparse transport provision. The whole parcel will shortly be sent the transport offices of DCC, Bee and the EM & GM Mayors.
S1 - These posters were delivered very quickly and most have subsequently been removed by outside parties. The remaining ones are at Tintwistle Cricket Club, Simmondley Lane, Glossop Tesco & Howard Arms.
S3 - the question has been asked at DCC & TfGM, Service improvements "may" happen under Bee franchising. There is also a page on this website for evening & Sunday operation around Gamesley.
